The Next Web: Large Language Models Like GPT-3 Aren’t Good Enough for Pharma and Finance

The global market for NLP is estimated at $13.5 billion today, but experts believe the market in Europe alone will swell to more than $21 billion by 2030. Despite its market value, however, not all NLP systems are created equal. Some more massive NLP systems can answer plain language queries and generate novel text. Still, they are unsuited for the kind of specialty work most professional organizations need from AI systems.

This makes these huge, popular models unfit for industries where accuracy is critical. More targeted models, like Arria’s, are trained on essential data and are better for business endeavors.
