ARRIA NLG DEVELOPMENT GROUPS – IP RESEARCH (ACADEMIC)

Fostering and monitoring the global academic development
of NLG technology

To be a global leader in the field of Natural Language Generation, Arria NLG must be at the forefront of developing and recruiting graduates and leaders in computational linguistics from leading universities.

We believe the University, Arria NLG and Data2Text Limited have amassed the largest NLG group in the world in terms of people, publications and projects. It has taken the scientists and teachers who lead this group more than 25 years to develop their NLG skills and to bring them to commercial reality at an enterprise level. It is they who have trained and are still training future scientists and software developers in the unique NLG skill set.

The Arria NLG technology team has created an NLG research and software development environment that is now attracting the world’s best NLG minds to join Arria NLG, and others who are joining are being further trained in NLG by our leading scientists and teachers. Arria NLG will seek to attract and retain the best NLG minds in the world; we will be able to further reward them for their creativity and their genius by issuing incentives, including awards over shares in Arria NLG.

Additionally, through certification programmes, Arria NLG and University educators will train clients’ engineers and computer scientists, and orient management personnel in the application of Arria NLG’s technologies.

The Arria NLG Centre of the University of Aberdeen, chaired by Arria NLG Chief Scientist, Prof. Ehud Reiter, is responsible for monitoring and fostering the global academic development of NLG.

Arria NLG Limited is commercializing the research and IP assets flowing from both the Arria NLG Academic IP Research Group and the Arria NLG Commercial IP Development Group.

The role of these three groups is to monitor, identify, acquire and absorb new NLG developments into our existing NLG IP assets and to transform NLG IP into commercial products.
