ARRIA NLG DEVELOPMENT GROUPS – IP INTEGRATION (LEGAL)

Arria’s IP Integration Team seeks to patent the
patentable breakthroughs that come from our IP Research
and IP Development groups

BOTH OUR ACADEMIC AND Commercial Research Groups are coordinated by the Arria Legal Integration Group which is chaired by Arria NLG General Counsel, Thomas Makeig.

This key group is responsible for:

1) The legal integration of the work product of Arria NLG’s other Intellectual Property groups with the sales and software teams,

2) Protecting new Intellectual Property and,

3) Licensing Intellectual Property where appropriate.

Arria NLG has retained Alston+Bird, one of the 100 largest US law firms, to advise our Legal Integration Group and to execute the company’s global patent strategy.

To monitor NLG IP developments in the commercial world, Arria NLG is utilizing a patent mapping software tool developed by Alston+Bird. Patent Mapping is a strategic planning service used by fortune 500 companies as an IP innovation, knowledge, surveillance and protection tool.

Arria NLG Limited is commercializing the research and IP assets flowing from both the Arria NLG Academic IP Research Group and the Arria NLG Commercial IP Development Group.

The role of these three groups is to monitor, identify, acquire and absorb new NLG developments into our existing NLG IP assets and to transform NLG IP into commercial products.
